THE
DISPLAY
The Ravens fly a high energy, fast paced aerial spectacular, which wows crowds all over Europe.
Known for their tight precision formation aerobatics and high-octane synchro pair routine.
It is a flowing display, where the crowd always gets to see the 6 aeroplanes up close flying manoeuvres not often seen.
The Ravens are very highly regarded in the European airshow crowd, known as one of the best and most professional civilian teams on the circuit.

Opening Flypast
The first figure, only flown if the display site allows. It starts from crowd Left to Right, and can be flown as low as 50ft.

Delta Loop
6-ship loop the loop, starting from crowd Right. Entry speeds of almost 250mph!

Underside Pass
6-ship pass from Left to Right, flown in Delta or Goose.
4 & 5 break into the Synchro pair on completion.

Battle Pull Up
Ravens 4 & 5 pull up and roll off as the Synchro Pair's first manoeuvre.

Box Barrel
Ravens 1, 2 , 3 & 6 fly a box barrel roll, one of the more challenging elements to fly.

Monkey Face
The Synchro pair pull up into a barrel roll, then down onto the A axis to the right getting ready for the next manoeuvre.

Cyclone
Raven 3 rolls around and around the team, with the Synchro pair pulling up through the action.

3 - 2 - 1 Break
Now re-joined, the first full break in the show. 4& 5 break off first, with 3, 2 , 1 over the top and 6 into a 'bunt'.

Opposition Pass
Synchro pair aim at ecah other with a closing speed of over 400 mph, to miss each other by only a few feet!

Box 1/4 Clover
Ravens 1, 2 , 3 & 6 fly a box quarter clover.

Battle Loop
The Synchro pair fly side by side in a loop the loop, known as battle formation.

Cross Break
Ravens 1, 2, 3 & 6 fly straight towards the crowd and cross break, one of the best photo oppotunities.

Cassette Loop
The Synchro pair now rewind the tapes for what we call the cassette loop.

Barrel Wingover
Ravens 1, 2 & 3 fly a on crowd barrel roll, followed by a steep wingover.

The Heart
The Synchro pair share the love with a huge vertical heart drawn in smoke, pierced by Raven 6.

Caterpiller Loops
Ravens 1, 2 & 3 pull one one behind the other, drawing 3 circles in the sky.

Twizzles
The signature manoeuvre to Team Raven, with all 6 aircraft rolling under and away from each other.

Bomb Burst
A spectacular way to end the show, with all 6 aircraft breaking into the 'bomb burst'!
